70th birthday party at Seven Canyons Sedona

Karen Lynn of Sedona Wedding Planner, pulled together a gorgeous event for Don’s 70th birthday party. As part of the package, we shot one hour of this event. While we were there, we remembered why we LOVE Seven Canyons Sedona. SO GORGEOUS! The views are 360 degrees and the “ranch house” was appointed with a elegant western style (we had to include a few extra details of the location at the end of this post)! Andrea from Sedona Cake Couture made a “wrapped present” cake and one of the guests asked if it was a real present! We agreed on the drive home that we’d hope to have a party just like that when we turn 70! Don’s family and guests were so genuine and friendly. Don thought it would be fun to have everyone at the event represented in black and white baby photos attached to Popsicle sticks– it was the best ice breaker I’ve ever seen! Don’s daughter made a toast and had everyone, including myself, in tears. During the toast I couldn’t help but think, “I know my daughter will have great things to say about my husband at his 70th birthday.” It was a sweet moment.
