Backyard Arizona Wedding at home
There is no place like home especially for a backyard Arizona wedding. The bride and groom decided their home in Gilbert, Arizona was the perfect venue for the casual elegance they desired. Julie really wanted her wedding in Flagstaff but the timing didn’t work out. After searching for another venue they realized they didn’t need to look further than their own backyard. Our talented associate shot this Gilbert wedding. The sunset light after the ceremony was absolutely perfect for these dreamy wedding portraits. We were also so privileged to work with our favorite officiant, Reverend Shanandoah of Sterling Weddings of Sedona for this Native American ceremony. We highly recommend Shanandoah because her ceremonies are always so heartfelt and thoughtful. We love the Native American traditions and we are always happy to see our couples value other customs. The floral artist was a friend of Julie’s and her bouquet and flowers were absolutely stunning. When having an outdoor reception, it’s important to consider if the shoes you’ve picked are appropriate. In this case, boots were the perfect foot wear for a backyard wedding and Julie’s Essense of Australia dress. Just check out the back of that gorgeous lace dress.
