Lauren and Chris’s Fall Arizona Snowbowl Wedding

Lauren and Chris chose a fall Arizona Snowbowl Wedding with beautiful majestic mountain views. A ceremony at 9,200 feet in elevation overlooking Hart Prairie is sure to be a memorable experience. The aspen trees and sunset set the stage for this romantic Flagstaff wedding.

Arizona Snowbowl is about 20 minutes outside of Flagstaff, but can be a great location for a mountain wedding. I loved that Lauren rented a beautiful house to get ready in at the base of the mountain. We think it’s important to consider where you are getting ready in relation to your ceremony. Try to keep the travel distance to a minimum and don’t under estimate the time it takes to actually get everyone into your vehicles.

Lauren and Chris met before the ceremony at a beautiful aspen grove to get some portraits in the woods just below the ceremony location. Sometimes it makes sense to do some of the photos before the ceremony and we always like to discuss the options with our clients. If you have a fall wedding, the evening light goes fast and you may need to discuss the timing of ceremony and portraits with your wedding planner to make sure you have enough time for everything that you want included in your photography.
