Amanda and Ryan’s Grand Canyon Wedding

Amanda and Ryan’s Grand Canyon Wedding was held at Shoshone Point within the national park just before sunset. We were able to capture a few photos of the bride and groom at the edge of the Canyon as the full moon rose in the background. It was one of the most beautiful scenes at the Canyon I’ve seen. The Canyon never fails to impress me, always providing the most stunning and beautiful backdrop to any wedding or portrait session. Not only was the Canyon beautiful for any wedding, it holds a special place in Ryan’s heart. They chose the Grand Canyon to include his mother, who passed away several years ago. Ryan’s mother’s ashes were spread at the canyon after her passing. The ceremony blended their two families and cultures as they included the filipino wedding traditions into their small ceremony. After epic Canyon portraits, we all headed to a beautiful tented reception outside the park in a nearby forest. We enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with thoughtful toasts, laughter and great dancing. It was overall a perfect affair and I was happy to share it with them.
