Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours

This is a little bit of personal post, but may be interesting for anyone who is thinking about a wedding out at Horseshoe Bend or just need some ideas for a Friday night out. Our family had a great opportunity to visit and meet up with Horsehoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours and check out their newest Friday evening tour out to Horseshoe Bend. We started with a quick visit to the Navajo Hogan, followed up by the most amazing fry bread on the edge of the canyon. We had perfect overcast weather to enjoy the talented traditional hoop dancers, Tomas Hunt and Gerold Secody. The kids ate fry bread to their hearts content and had their pick of the best seats in the house. It was a beautiful evening with family and friends. I guess you can say we are pretty luck to live in Northern Arizona!

This is a select tour provided by Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon Tours. You can book a private tour to the bend and nearby slot canyons to avoid the crowds. The “crowds” in these photos were mostly family and friends. It was a perfect Friday night in the middle of the Northern Arizona desert. It’s not only a great family adventure, it’s the most amazing place for a wedding. You can find out more about our weddings here.
