If you are planning a wedding you probably already know that there are lots of vendors out there, especially wedding photographers! What kind of information do you really need to make a good decision? A lot depends on the size and location of your wedding. These days, I’m focused mostly on Northern Arizona weddings. Weddings in Sedona tend to be much smaller and more casual than in other locations. Not to say, that I don’t have the large scale wedding experience in my bag.
I have tried to put together a FAQ page, which I will continue to work on in this month of “social distancing” we are all experiencing, but in the meantime…. A photographer, who I respect and consider as mentor and friend, has already said it best on her site for now. Check out some of her great advice on how to ask the right questions when researching your wedding vendors.

Here are few images from a small wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona last May. They had ceremony up at Spirit Song on L’Auberge’s property. It was pretty bright and a little windy! We started this ceremony around 3pm in the afternoon before the deck falls into shade. This particular ceremony location can have tricky lighting if not planned accordingly. My choice is either right at sunset or a few hours earlier before the deck falls completely into shade.
