We are your Flagstaff and Sedona Family Portrait Photographer! We pulled a few images from previous portrait sessions and created a collection here. We shoot family sessions outside. Our sessions are generally booked in the summer and fall season in Flagstaff. In Sedona shoot into the late fall or winter. We sell two types of family portraits: posed and documentary. The posed session will allow us to capture your family group looking at the camera. This is usually great for a holiday card or a traditional family portrait. It usually takes under an hour to complete this session. We also offer a lifestyle or documentary session. These sessions capture real family moments. We like to shoot families actually doing an activity they love. This way everyone is comfortable and it’s fun to find a place that is meaningful to the each family. The amount of time we are with your family varies depending on what activity we choose. Sometimes the home backyard can work but often, we head to a second location with less in the background. Often a fence or other homes or cars will get in the way for a clean background. Perhaps your family takes an evening walk searching for acorns or sunflowers. Maybe you plan a picnic in the woods or play a game at the park. There are so many great options for a fun, relaxed family session where everyone looks natural and has a great time.
