Studio Updates
It’s great to be in Colorado! Still loving all my clients from Sedona, Flagstaff, Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon and beyond, yet new wonderful photography opportunities in Grand Junction for small business, high school seniors and couples. Please reach out with project ideas and events.
Though I love my clients –I recently concluded my time teaching photography & graphic design classes at the local high school & community college. The adventure of teaching photography has helped me fall in love with the craft all over again and given me the opportunity to practice and explore photography right along with my students. It’s been a beautiful opportunity for me to rekindle my photography skills and find new creative outlets.
The studio is now booking limited number of summer and fall portrait sessions. I will not be taking commissions through November- January. Spring sessions in Grand Junction will resume in April.
Student Wheat Pasting Project
My Photography class experimented with wheatpasting this year! What a fun project.... We planned photo shoots, researched methods, printed, pasted and shared the final project in the courtyard of the school
Student Art Show
Our students displayed work locally at the school and around town including the Coconino Center for the Arts Youth Art Show. Learning to print, mat and frame is always rewarding.
Light the World Giving Machine
I was able to serve on the media team with local charities again this year in partnership with the Light the World initiative. Creating social media content alongside new friends and colleagues in the community. You can follow along on my instagram page @jamellekelly
